Financial Specialist
Mosaica Education, Inc. is seeking a unique individual who will work with school principals and senior management to drive fiscal results and facility expansions.
The Financial Specialist will report to the CFO and will use financial information and business savvy to help schools to: optimize funding sources, reduce expenses and prepare for growth.
The Financial Specialist will:
• Review monthly P&L data and create recommendations for action
• Develop, maintain and update the planning and budgeting models
• Work with potential lenders and landlords to secure financing
• Assist in the sales and marketing of real estate owned by the company
• Develop and provide revenue enhancement, cost savings and profit improvement initiatives
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual budget preparation and analysis
Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance (Master’s Degree is preferred)
• 5-7 years experience in a similar role
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; experience negotiating
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Solid experience with Excel; experience with MAS500 and FRX a plus
• Ability to learn programs and processes quickly
